Jetpack Armada Pledge Fund
Jetpack Armada Update Demo Jetpack Armada is in the studio recording a demo. We have a few of them completed that can be listened to on our myspace - http://www.myspace.com/jetpackarmada Just Like That And Just Like That, we finished writing and recording the song and are now shopping it to artists who may want to release it on their album. It turned out great. Have a listen to "Just Like That" HERE. Co-Writing I've recently co-written a couple of tunes with other writers that I believe to be stellar songs. "Just Like That" was co-written with Jess McEntire out of Nashville. Jess is currently finishing up on a project on Route 66, The Mother Road that he completed with Loretta Lynn. This song is a touching country ballad in the vein of Rascal Flatts that we're looking to have demo'd in the next few months here. Writing with Jessie came easy. Jessie presented me with some beautiful lyrics to work with and I put some melodies on it. We went back and forth by email and within 2 weeks, the song was done and it's a star. Jetpack Armada Consisting of former members of Innertune, Jetpack Armada is rocking audiences around Orange County, CA with energetic sets, distinguished 3 and 4 part harmonies, poignant lyrics, and memorable hooks. We've only played a few shows but we're having fun and the crowd is responding... This is a fun project I'm passionate about that looks to be long term....The band currently stands strong with an armada of 7 players. I have a list of resolutions taped to my file cabinet, the main one being balancing work and music with family. It looks to be a promising start of the decade. I have new songs, a new band, and a new film called Three Veils that I'm supervising (as Jody Friedman) that should hit festivals this year. The film was directed by Rolla Selbak and produced by Ahmad Zahra...and who says Jews and Arabs couldn't get along...eh?? The film should finish post-production in the next few months. It's turning out to be a very good film and we're excited for all to see.. Website Milestone - THANK YOU! Our website hit the 12,000 visit marker for website hits in November and wanted to say "Thank You" to all of the support! One of these days, we'll put out another album, and maybe you'll have reason to come back to the website :) R.I.P. INNERTUNE We had a lot of fun playing together for the last two years, but sadly Innertune has decided to call it splits. No, it is not because of the gig we had at Split's bowling alley, but we just want to try new things. Thank you to everyone who supported the band and came out for a lot of drunken nights at J. King Neptune's, Coconuts, OC Fair, B.B. Kings, and for that one hippy dude at Totally Coffee - you rock!
