I've been taking a songwriting class with Judy Stakee of The Judy Stakee Company and it has been simply wonderful. Judy has taught me to approach songs differently and as such I'm going back and re-writing many of my older songs. Everything is different. The way I listen to songs, my writing methods are changing, and I'm learning to challenge myself more with my writing. This is an amazing class and I'm very fortunate to have the chance to learn what Judy has to teach. Highly recommended for any songwriters out there...

New Years Resolution #1 - Lots of Songwriting

2011 is here and I've promised myself that I would focus more on songwriting and co-writing with others. There is a whole world of like minded songwriters out there and I want to meet them. I want to know about different methods of writing, and well become a better writer. Not sure what lies ahead this year, but I hope I'm able to share some new songs for others to relate to. Looking forward to a great year!
