Jody Aaron Friedman is an award-winning songwriter, recording artist and music supervisor.  His licensing & supervision company, HD Music Now, has worked with the major film studios, advertising agencies, trailer houses and television networks to license their growing music catalog for over 10 years.  His music supervision & clearance projects can be seen on HBO, Showtime, DirectTV, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon and more. 

A recording artist in his own right, his "Memory Box" EP is reminiscent of Ryan Adams, Cat Stevens, Dave Matthews and The Jayhawks. The latest EP recorded in Nashville, TN, was produced by multi-platinum songwriter/producer, Kenny Lamb (N'Sync, Jason Aldean, Ashley Monroe), showcases his strength as a songwriter and features collaborations with hit songwriters like Kenny Lamb, Melissa Bollea & Bruce Wallace (Dierks Bentley, Billy Currington).

2013's "Rivers EP" was produced by Grammy winning Multi-Platinum producer Scott Mathews (Beach Boys, Zac Brown, and Johnny Cash).

Originally from Safety Harbor, Florida, Jody resides in Southern California and travels regularly to Nashville, where he has co-written songs with such talented songwriters as Jason Matthews (Luke Bryan, Trace Adkins), Kris Bergsnes (Tyler Farr, Tim McGraw), Rebecca Lynn Howard (Martina McBride) and many more.
